Sell (reset) every 4 hours to gain GPU, which are an extra 1% gold per, which helps you to go further, faster each run.

With the 4 hour reset timer, I'm not so certain. It was still 30 minutes when I started playing. As for how many sats is a dollar, the ZBD app gives a quick reference on the wallet tab, if you didn't want to do the math yourself.

Yeah. Each time you do it, you gain more and more GPU, based on progress when doing the reset, and each GPU is an extra 1% gold gain, so you can progress further, faster each time.

Combined with stacking the permanent x12 boost multiplier from the store for 360 nodes, and leveling up the pickaxe super upgrade, you'll eventually be able to just unlock row on the lower levels and not even bother upgrading them.

I've been playing about 10 month. I play pretty casually. There are others that have played a similar amount of time as me and have way more GPU.

I believe the general consensus is to wait until you have about 5 times more GPU than required to unlock the next level, since unlocking the levels spends the GPU and can set you back quite a bit if not careful.

I keep accidentally updating the ZBD app via APKPure (which I primarily use for region-locked TV apps, but update alongside Google Play to get updates done faster).

It never used to be N issue, but they've gotten stricter, so if you update away from the official update, you open the app and it asks you to update from the Play Store.

So ZBD are getting stricter and I think they've cut down on APK updates since they've closed some regions.

So now, if I forget to click "ignore", I have to reinstall the damned app if the update isn't available yet locally.

APKPure uses the Google Play Store primarily, anyway, to provide apps and updates, so it's usually safe. I just know I can't update certain apps there, like other TV apps, as it can't differentiate between which apps are for tablet, TV, etc.

Anyway, if ZBD isn't available in a certain region, you can't download an APK and try to confuse it, as it has APK locks now as well as VPN ones. I obviously haven't tried with a VPN, even though the one I have is one of the best, but that's not worth the risk, either. And downloading an APK just makes the app unusable.

Rocket Side Quest Strategy
I tried using some of the pinned strategies for the rocket side quest, but they didn’t work for me, likely because I was missing the Piggy Bag “trick”. The strategy below usually gets me to launch the rocket before the first day is over.

Terms/Legend
PPU = Piggy Processing Units = top right of the screen = income multiplier
PB = Piggy Bag = top middle of the screen = shows current rocket level progress bar
RL = Rocket Level = left of screen = shows progress to launch the rocket
MU = Mining Upgrades = left bottom of screen (next to pickaxe clicker) = shows investment in current level upgrades
US = Upgrade Stage = main interface where you upgrade your coin levels and unlock new coins

General Strategy
I usually upgrade coins only to level 10 except for at the very start in RL one or two, and at the very end when you have unlocked the last coin in the US scaffolding. I typically keep upgrading the last three coins until a restart.

If you stay in the game and click the axe you can include the “axe upgrade” in the MU menu, else you can only focus on “coin value” first and “offline income” second. I usually include all three as it speeds up the process in the lower RLs when I’m manually clicking more.

In the MU menu only use the PPU upgrade if you have more than five times the required PPU investment. For example, the first upgrade costs 50 PPUs which you will only buy when you have over 250 PPUs. This will allow you to keep your velocity but still invest towards faster PB completion. I’ve tried 10x and 5x, but I think 5x is the sweet spot.

Never click the completed PB without resetting first. Meaning that as soon as you see the hand icon at the top of the screen to collect your RL reward you would reset by clicking on the PPU and restart (called prestige in the main game). After the restart you collect the PB which will largely get you back to the same US that you were at previously. This saves a lot of time rebuilding and shortcuts the time/effort to the rocket launch. The actual RL rewards don’t impact your active rocket side quest play as they benefit the main game only.

Whenever you return to the rocket side quest watch the ad to get 2x offline income. Whenever you click a completed PB watch the ad to get the 2x reward. Some of the earlier PB/RL stages don’t take that long and being offline for too long stall progression because once the PB/RL is completed the game basically idles.

Unlocking rows 2,4,6,8,10 are the quickest ways to earn sats consistently. Selling portfolio for gpu’s allows you to unlock those rows again for more sats
As your gpu’s increase, it will be easier to unlock rows faster and might cause you to run into the !limit issue. ⬇️ When you start earning sats more consistently, it’s usually best to withdraw after you get your max withdrawal at one time so you won’t get that message. Let me know if you need pointers on either event 🤗

But I thought the GPU icon was showing a dollar sign to withdraw dollars. However even if I keep mining, those dollars are only for upgrading GPU or others which have nothing to do with Satoshi bitcoin that I have to find three at most each time

Not at all. You earn sats, then withdraw them to ZBD, then transfer to a wallet, or buy gift cards.

I've bought €40 of gift cards so far.

It's not high earning, but a minor-earning time waster.
