I am designing a bot that will output a message to a specific channel. I was wondering if there are channels that always exist in a guild that we can get with a bot, or is there a way to have the bot installer select a specific channel when they go to install the bot for the output of the bot messages?

there is no channel that always exists

a server can (however it'd be useless) contain zero channels
