question about classes

Hey, so I’m in my freshman year and I had a question about prerequisite classes. If I want to start med school right after college, so I need to take a 2nd English class before I apply to med school or can it be right before I graduate? Asked my advisor and it still wasn’t clear to me. Thanks

You usually need a 2nd English class to graduate. Separate from your graduation requirement - as for it being a med school prereq (and this goes for anything) - you just need it so long as it’s completed prior to matriculation. With that being said you’re best getting that out of the way early.
