#I need advice for my laptop fan

I'm also thinking on just disconnecting the fan and risking cooking my entire pc just for some silence
gosh no don't do that... look for another one on ebay. make sure it's new(er). It's usually just a few plugs to get it out, can be tricky but i'm SURE there's youtube videos on the breakdown. you got this!
Also might not be a bad idea to repaste the cpu while you are changing out the fan.
You can do that if the laptop still boots with the fan disconnected. If you have an Intel CPU, get ThrottleStop and increase the PROCHOT offset to like 10 or 15. That will make the CPU thermal throttle at 90 or 85°C, that way you don't cook it while you wait for a replacement to arrive. The other fan should be able to cool the CPU just fine as long as the GPU doesn't draw too much power
Amd cpu :)
