Idk if this is truly the case as switching the psu shouldnt skip if its on
Unless switching causes it to reset default settings on ac loss and then you dont have f1 hang on ac loss

Sounds like a bad seat for one of the sticks.
Check the pins on the Ram sticks for any damage or warped pins. They both may contact but just slightly off.

Yes I’ve done this, the memory does have a auto setting I haven’t messed with it yet because of the expo issue when I enabled that
