#Choosing SSD

What are some things to take into consideration when buying an ssd? Im looking for an m.2 ssd that's 1tb - ideally 2tb and my current strategy is just to sort from cheapest and choose one that doesn't look too bare-bones. Are there specific features i should look out for? other specs than just capacity? or can you just not go wrong with an ssd?
Also i currently have a gigabyte b560 HD3 and an i3 10105f and i remember when i was building this pc the top ssd slot used to not work with 10th gen intel cpus and ram speed couldnt be faster than 2400mhz but i definitely didn't upgrade my cpu but i now have full speed of my ram. Could that mean that the top ssd slot will also work or will i have to take out my current one?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

considering buying an nvme that lasts 10 years is a very good investment

also its reccomended to put your fastest ssd in a m2a slot (if you have one)

#

and putting windows on a smaller ssd

thanks for the help! im thinking about getting a new ssd because my windows install is bugged and i need to reinstall it, but to do that i need both of my m.2 slots to work so fingers crossed

if one of your m.2's doesnt work you could also get a pci adapter

#

if you have an atx motherboard you usually have spare pci ports you shove a nvme adapter in

#

great for extra ssds

#

sorry i mean PCI-E instead of pci

#

its a typo i make alot

ahh good idea i didn't think about a pcie adapter. it's not as much as it doesn't work as much as it is that i think as long as i have a 10th gen intel cpu the mobo doesnt recognise it or something.

i like the P310-P510-T710

#

simple way to let my clients choose speed for ssd and then storage amount

#

i usually recommend the 2tb p310 since in finland i always find super good deals on it but upto what u find
