Who wants to try to help me spend more money? (7900xt for sale)

I have a 7900xt in my build right now. I was planning on waiting a bit to upgrade in a few years. However, there was recently announced a slash in production. I foresee GPUs following RAM Armageddon.
Should I sell my 7900xt and buy a 5080?

It has to be white. Should I search for it used? I don’t know how much I can get for the 7900xt phantom 20gb. Or should I chill will the 7900. I can be patient- it’s not like it’s not working for me, but will waiting end up being extremely problematic in the future?

I could maybe get 600 or 650 for the 7900xt. Is it worth 400 more for a 5080

its like up to a 30% upgrade in gaming ig maybe not 400 bucks worth

but 5080 raytracing perf is so much better i think if u play games with rt itll make a decent diff ig

and if u do blender, editing etc 5080 is also big upgrade

Gotchya. The only holdback in my mind is a market prediction. Will it get cheaper with the ti releases, or will it get more expensive as production is cut

Ray tracing is tempting but not necessary.
