Not the router I contacted the wifi people already

The issue "no internet access" is commonly tied to DNS. There's a chance that when your router established the connection to the computer, it didnt give it DNS servers, or the one it uses is faulty.
If you can, open command prompt.
The easiest way to do so, is by using the keyboard combination Windows Key + R, and typing "CMD"
Once it is open, type ping google.com
If it is working right, the output should be similar to the one attached
