Port forwarding (in router) doesn’t do anything for this. Close those ports please.
Are you using wifi or Ethernet
Ethernet, i complety reset my router and just changed some basic stuff, i got rid of the ports i forwarded. I dont have any packet loss now but my nat time is still moderate. I also flushed my dns in cmd and after that i put into it netsh winsock reset, i am not sure what i does but i saw some people do it
if packet loss is gone and no in game issues i wouldnt worry abt moderate NAT tbh
Open / Moderate / Strict NAT has little to do with packet loss or latency. If the game currently does not have packet loss, but did before, that indicates a potential problem with your connection to the servers.
This might be on your internal network (for example, if your computer is connected to your router/modem over crappy WiFi), your router/modem's signal to your ISP's infrastructure outside your home (could be the modem, could be your ISP's lines feeding your home, etc.), or it could be the routing between your ISP and the game server's hosting environment. (Or it could've been the particular server you were on at the time.)
These types of things are usually a waste of time to track down, because it's not worth 7+ weeks of your life documenting logs or contacting your ISP for an intermittent problem. But... I leave that decision up to you, of course.
