PSU: GP-UD1300GM
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: Gigabyte Aorus 9070XT
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 64GB (Two sticks)
MB: ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI

Desktop is nearly 6 months old, this issue doesn’t happen often, but does happen truly randomly. Often times it’s during gaming, other times it’s during productivity, or even at idle. Some days it’ll BS (Black Screen) multiple days, or it won’t BS at all for a few days.

When this occurs:

  • Both if my monitors black screen
  • Desktop RGB’s are still lit, fans running
  • I can hear audio, but input does not go through
  • I usually have to cycle power to the PC to resolve

Things I have tried:

  • Resetting CMOS, BIOS, DRIVERS.
  • Replaced PSU
  • Replaced Motherboard
  • Replaced ALL PSU wires
  • Edited settings in BIOS, specifically PCIE Link settings, from Auto to GEN 5

Currently at a loss, not sure what else to try. I’ve been trying to diagnose since the first time it’s happened. Seems like I’m not getting any traction or a fix. Someone mentioned to me that I should remove one RAM stick and run the pc like that and see if it replicates. I’ll try that my next session.

I plan on sending off the GPU off for warranty, but that’ll be my last thing unless highly recommended.

Any advice?

What I do know, is in Event Viewer, I get a Kernal Power Event ID 41. I’ve read through every forum, and cannot seem to fix the issue.

For example my Corsair psu 3 pin has a slight play in it. I get this error when my kid or me knocks the pc because power is interrupted
