#First time open loop water cooling

Big up eisbaer
What’s ur usecase?
Dude are you seriously watercooling a 9070xt
Yeah. Why not. From what ive seen you get 20 celsius cooler under normal use
So i figuren i could go with a cheaper gpu and just clock it a bit
Also it looks cool
it's relatively pointless, frankly
but if you wanna do it for the sake of it, sure
though multiple swaps are needed here
board/psu/ram/cpu*, most notably
what's with all the Asus?
Reliable, and affordable
in what universe
going by brand is a bad idea inherently
every brand makes at least some slop
some more than others
asus is certainly on the end of more slop
tbh
I just went for the cheapest of the large brands. As some of the other stuff i looked at previously got sold out
I just wanted a 850 mother board. And 850 watt gold powersupply
And asus is one of the more afforable gpus with waterblocks avalable
What exactly is the PC for?
Gaming mostly
I jsut want it to run smoothly at a dement price, have sone longevity and not be extremely loud
atp you should not be custom looping
Looking at some Lian Li fans with 3.97 mmH2O static for the radiators
Yeah, im still gonna do it.
as long as you know it serves zero functional purpose, only complicating things tenfold
you do realize the 7500f and 9700x have extremely similar averages in gaming, yeah?
the 9700x would only do better in particularly CPU intensive games, and even then- not a lot
the 7500f is just a 7600 without the igpu
and the 7600 performs near 1:1 in most cases with the 9600... which follows suit with the 9700x
This pool includes CS2, which is honestly half the reason the 9700x is even noticeably higher
even then, that's.. 6%.
6% in a favourable situation for the 9700x.
I was actualy debating going for the 7900X3D instead
don't
Im not going to build a computer with worse specs then my laptop
Most posetive sweede
I'm Canadian 🥀
And I heavily doubt you're building something worse than your laptop
Yeah I wouldent be far from it if i used your komponentkoll.se build
??
This
i literally just explained why the 7500f and the 9700x are the same shit for gaming
it would not be worse than your laptop
probably
I have a 7840hs in my laptop. So yeah it wouldebt be far off
Ok
laptop skus are notably worse than desktop skus
it's far off
though it's extremely difficult to bench laptop and desktop skus against each other, considering most professional reviews just.. don't bother
userbenchmark is terrible
genuine shit site
seriously no idea how it's still top search results
extremely inaccurate/biased as well
don't bother searching for comparisons, literally all of these sites suck
anyone could confirm
most of them are slop algorithms fed nothing but prices and specs from manufacturer sites
Fair. The gist of is id rather have a pc thats a bit over speed over under specked. And I do multi task quite allot. Want to get back into streaming. Ive also devated buying a 3d printer recently so ive been trying to get more into 3d rendering and shit
- im debating getting a package deal, thats basicly all those parts
There’s no real place to compare cpus
