Will I lose anything in the process. I have too much on my ssd with the OS in it
The part of a clean install is deleting all partitions, aka deleting all files on the disk
ideally you would want to backup all files on another drive while you install your os, unless your have other disks in your system where you save files and where your os is installed
If you don't want to go through the process of moving files and reinstalling programs you'd have to see how to get this screen
Adding to what @minor heart said, you do have backups, right? If not, what would you do if your storage drives suddenly died, taking everything on them to the grave?
