Holon lemme get you a pcpartpicker list
bett
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, Montech X3 Mesh ATX Mid Tower
@uncut blade
poopoo
It's the best price to performance PC you can get atm
He's on a budget so it's a real thing here.
It's really not shit mate.
pal is 13 years old
Speak for yourself
@uncut blade are you willing to get an used gpu since if you are willing to get something like an used 4070/4070 Super you can have a really good setup for 1k euros
if you use blocket.se you can find a 4070 ti for around 4.5k kroner
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Cooler Master Elite 301 MicroATX Mid Tower
unsure if there's any other used online marketplaces in sweden
you can easily haggle this down to 4.5k and they have a buyer protection thingie unsure what it's called in sweden
isnt RX 9060 XT 16GB better
it's still 20% faster in 1080
is ryzen 5 7500F really better than ryzen 7 5800X
It’s newer though and cheaper even if the 4080 is used
Not as good as 9600X though
they're the exact same lmao
7500F / 9600x
but 5800x is poop due to it's design flaw
Yeah
the IHS on it is thicker than 5700x so it'll run 20C hotter than the 5700x while also delivering same performance as the 5700x
because so far for my budget i made a
B550A STRIX Gaming mobo
Ryzen 7 5800X
RX 9060 XT 16GB
32gb DDR4 RAM
CX650F PSU
be quiet! pure rock 6
i mean i planned that out
absolute dogwater
it doesn't really matter
Hey chat
ough I just realised I forgot to add a cooler to my list
Yes
yes I already showed you before it's 20% faster
thats crazy
Doggenshit
Yes
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Cooler Master Elite 301 MicroATX Mid Tower
added a cooler since I forgot
Bueno
and matx looks good
if you want atx you're gonna be spending around 50-100 bucks more for nothing
Matx is for chads
yes
what
form factor doesn't correlate to temperatures
you can have an ATX system and it can overheat like crazy
it just depends on the case that ur getting
and the cooler
this case and cooler can easily handle cpus like the 14900k at full power without even getting close to overheating
eh idk it kinda looks goofy with the 240mms being so big
huh
dang
How much more do you think it'd cost wil a mid tower
also idm having a motherboard without WiFi
50-100 bucks depending how you chesp out
I don't really recommend going ATX with ur budget
Wasting money to gain nothing
Probably an uglier pc
cause it's the best kit you can get for that cheap
it's 6000cl30
isnt CL36 better
no
you'd preferably want ur latency as low as possible but on amd you want it to be 1:1 for the infinity fabric
6000cl30 would be 1:1
I mean so is 6000cl36 but cl36 isn't ideal
so should i not get for my build
2x 16GB DDR5 6400MT/s cl36-48-48-104?
If you're running AMD get 6000mt/s ram
With 6400 your infinity fabric will be 1:2 instead of the ideal 1:1
I dont know how I feel about having to buy a used RTX 4070
especially that I dont know the state it is in
Buying used is fine I buy 99% of my pc parts used
From the same website aswell but finnish version of it as both are owned by the same company
Also that 4070 I linked has a thing where after getting the 4070 you have 24hrs go inspect it and see if it's fine before the money goes to the seller
definitely get gpu used cause your performace will be much higher
anyways, the only component i’m not fine with being used are SSDs (and maybe used SSDs are becoming more and mroe ok)
used ssd's are fine aslong as the seller lists the ssd health
if i have r5 7600x, (5060ti 16GB probably irrelevant), B850I Lightning Wifi, a 6400 doesn’t fit?
it will but ur system will run slower or will be very unstable
AMD doesn't handle ram speeds over 6000 very well
it will either run fine but will run slower than 6000mt/s or it'll be completely unstable just depends on the bin of ur cpu
but overal 6400mt/s isn't recommended for AMD whatsoever
ok imma try to find a 6000 one
btw, site says INTEL XMP 3.0 & AMD EXPO READY, CAS Latency of 36, 1.4 Volts, compatible with: 6400MHz - 4800MHz
so does it make sense to downclock?
yes
yeah cause i’d probably need to pay more money to get a different deal cause the ccurrent deal is good
all ram kits support xmp/expo but the 6400's expo/xmp profile will be awful for AMD
wait i know this might be inappropriate to expliitly divert attention to another cchannel just ccause it naturally isn’t getting as much attention (tell me off if it’s not ok) but could you please review my PC parts choice?
poo
sorry?
poop
the parts i chose?
oh nice ig room for imporvement what are your suggestions and why are we writing this here
And you are sure that this CPU will be fine
also
isnt an RTX 4070 super a little bit overkill
@cedar wasp
idk where i would utilize all of that
Yes if we're talking about the 7500F
Nah
Also 4070 Super is significantly more expensive than a base 4070
yeah
thats why im
wondering if its a good option
because you put in 4070 super into the list
Wasn't paying attention just chose the first 4070 I saw just to use as a placeholder
ah
btw
why isnt the RX 9060 XT 16GB good
its got a ton of VRAM
cause
its a lot of money for me
and ill do everything to make sure that what i buy is worth the price
im currently running an i5-10400F + GTX 1660 Super
i can sell my current PC for 6000 SEK iirc
Just throwing more vram at a gpu won't make it better
The 12gb is the ideal amount of vram nowadays more is nice but mostly unnecessary for gaming
DCS VR requires 16gb according to their website
You wouldn't want AMD for VR in the first place
what components do you have currently, there is a good chance you can reuse something
10400F + Gtx 1660 Super smells like a HP Pavilion/Acer Nitro prebuilt
Doubt theres anything to re-use on that
nope
built it myself
B460F STRIX mobo
CX650F ARGB white PSU
GTX 1660 super dual oc
i5-10400F
fury beast 16gb 2x8
it was great when i built it 5 years ago
but over time it just got worse
@cedar wasp
H510 lul
bad or good 😭
Bad
Gamemax psu??
i REALLY want a 3500X ARGB for new pc
Mid
Matx is better value
m
but
like
so far my experience with matx is that my friends pc always overheats
Your friend probably has a shit case just like the h510
Whats his pc
And when was the last time he cleaned it
he has his entire mobo outside of the case just to have his rtx 3060ti not overheat
often
custom so idk
Sounds like a skill issue
oh and he got a new matx case yesterday
Skill issue
but he lit fried his mobo yesterday
Lul
he was rebuilding his pc on a fluffy rug
the static electricity fried his PSU and mobo
Lol
idk why but i hate matx
its like
mid af
like
theoreteritcally
arent matx mobos supposed to be worse
cause theyre smaller
Average*
😭 🙏
negotiate on this - https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1288028849337277
amd get this https://se.pcpartpicker.com/product/6BLp99/sapphire-pulse-radeon-rx-9070-16-gb-video-card-11349-03-20g
that generation still has plenty of life left
Cap
11th gen is doggenshit
well its either a in socket upgrade or get a new platform (cpu+ram+mobo)
yeah that was my plan
i would need a new mobo anyways
no?
B460F cant take 11th gen
idk
It can
just update bios to latest one and you will be fine
