Video of how loud it is ^
Completely no display
and the “Gigabyte” on the card is showing only red instead of its usual colour wave
Check if the gpu cable is seated properly or check your psu.
What should I check in my psu
If the cables are all good and seated correctly.
As in the ones plugged into my motherboard ?
or elsewhere
The ones plugged in your psu at the back and the one on your gpu.
At the back? Like the chord ?
Are you able to remove the back panel and send a picture?
Please check if these cables are seated by giving them a sight push.
And for this one on your gpu too.
As in push them inwards right
Yes.
Like just grab them and push them into the power supply
Yep
And the one on your gpu?
Yes.
Am I supposed to plug in the smaller ones that are separated
Looks like not seated correctly.
Pust Just like you did with the psu.
Push*
All 8?
The ones that were already in the gpu, don't try to add cables please.
It looks like the connector is 4×2 or 6×2
Alright,‘I did only the 6 one
And I pushed it in pretty hard this time
Alright, you can try turning it on again.
It’s no longer turning on
Does anything happen at all?
Is the switch at the back of the psu near the cord flipped?
This is on, right?
Yes, don't forget to plug the cord back in.
It was plugged in, I just unplugged it to take a picture
What’s the reset sw thing
My guess it's the psu that is causing all of this. Do you know the wattage and age?
Front panel button.
I am not all too sure of the wattage but it shouldn’t be all too old at all
If the wattage is too low that means it can't provide enough power for the pc. Does your cpu have onboard graphics?
I believe it does
Would you mind putting your dp/hdmi in your motherboard IO and try turning it on again. Double check all cables are plugged in before you try to turn it on again please.
Where’s my motherboard IO
Where you plug in all your usbs.
Found it
Well it’s plugged in
and the pc still won’t turn on
No rgb in the pc itself
No sounds
It’s like there’s no power anymore
Diagnosing like this is really hard. Your safest bet will be going to your local computer store because this is probably a hardware issue caused/not caused by human error. If you see any leds at all that is a good thing.
And I suggest disconnecting power in the mean time.
To avoid frying anything.
Thanks for all the help, I’ll check in tomorrow
