#trying to enable secure boot for BO7

you will need to reset platform keys...in the bios..
I've done that. When I go back into bios secure boot is grayed out
you didnt do it properly...I am sure...
csm must be enabled. You need to disable it
It probably won’t be in the same place. Have you checked the rest of the bios?
Looks like a HP laptop. What’s the model
It's a desktop. HP Gaming desktop tg01-2xxx. Was on hp website for a bios update and ended being tg01-2000a
everything is stock except RAM and ssd
so i cant say much for this bc i have a gigabyte board, but for me i had to disable secure boot bc it said it was enabled and then below it theres a setting set to standard, i set that to custom then back to standard accepted factory keys restarted into bios then enabled secure boot and it worked. btw i learned this the hard way after bricking a motherboard
Secure boot can’t brick a motherboard…
Also it's an AMI motherboard. If anyone can direct me to the firmware files for the bios update that would be wonderful. What I downloaded from HP doesn't seem to work. Supposedly after the update tpm shouldn't have a zero in the version but mine still does.
I downloaded from hp but it doesn't SEEM to work.
I know AMD had an issue with security features and BO7/BF6 shutting out bios versions that don’t have that update
