#Compare Laptops

I am willing to buy a new laptop and these two are the options that is available for my budget
either the 2899 or the 2999
But the thing is, I don't know which one to choose as their price is quite similar. Therefore I require someone to help me review on it so I could know which one is better worth to buy based on its specs and price
Thankyou in advance
Thes look nearly identical, aside from the CPU. But even then, the performance between the 2 is very similar.

For only 100 difference, I'd choose the ASUS / 2999 model, though I would ask the store what a "1PS" display is... (I assume they mean "IPS" but um, if they're so incompetent that they typed "1PS" in the marketing details, I would not trust buying warranty from them.)
the only difference is cpu
it doesnt state whether its ddr 4 or ddr5
but i assume ddr4
just to make sure, could you tell me how many storage slots does it has for both models?
No idea. You'd need to look that information up on each manufacturer's website. Hopefully both manufacturer's publish maintenance manuals for both models. The maintenance manuals will tell you.
laptops usually have 2 storage slots, one of which is already used
I also heard from few people that Tuf has some wifi problems
but I'm not quite sure of that, as i don't really understand these things
Depends entirely on the WiFi chipset they use in the laptop, which can change over time with each production run.
for the victus?
asus
So it's not the same for all
I mean, what about for the victus
these laptops usually have 2 slots
let me check but im sure its 2
I cannot find the English Upgrade Guide on their website, so you get Dutch. Pictographs in the manual imply there are 2x NVMe storage slots, and the RAM is allegedly removeable.
2024 TUF Gaming F16 is paired with the latest Intel® Core™ i7-13650HX processor, up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPU, and NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus.
thats i7
this is for the F16
F16 is not the model number. ALWAYS reference the model number.
idk why hp says ssd hard drive
these laptops usually come with 512gb of storage, so if you'r not satisfied with it, you'll have to upgrade
or give it for upgrading if you dont want to void warranty
Okay, so in conclusion.. which one is better?
If battery life is important to you, impossible to say without knowing the battery capacity of each laptop. I would ask the store to provide that information. If battery life isn't important, the ASUS specs are better.
