Howd u feel about this one
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, Thermaltake View 170 ARGB MicroATX Mini Tower
why
like it but 550w is quite low tho cuz of upgrade room. cpu is ok but idk think i myne is better https://pc-builds.com/compare/cpu/1BZ1je/ryzen-5-9600x/ryzen-7-7700x
and cooler is a fair point but idk if I need it
btw ik you need to take it whit a grain of salt
i used that specific case in one of my builds and i must say its the worst piece of garbage ive ever built in
its a mini ITX case marketed as mATX
because an mATX board theoretically fits in there but you will have a hundred and one problem
ok thx 4 that idk noting abt cases what do you recomend 4 a 50-60euro matx case on amazon
🇹 🇠🇽
This one shows the 9600x as the winner though
where ?
And I dont know the validity of that site
Single core performance is what youre looking at for gaming, the 7700x is a better productivity or multi tasking cpu
the 9600x is a better gaming one
ok thx fr
and itz cheaper
btw i have a 180 hz montior its it a good ide to upgrade
1080p
If youd like ig, its said that 1440p is the new sweetspot for gaming
Takes away bottlenecks when using some components
and other stuff that improves performance
ture i think il leave it thill i can afford a better montor upgare
so like 240 + 1440p prob
The setup can run minecraft very good at 1080p, theres not really a big problem to run the games at 1080p in my opinion, just that the gpu would be under utilized
youd be fine mane
What do you recommend?
Dogshit
🤓
?
Youre calling my build dogshit when you went on ebay to find a 7800xt
It isnt dogshit, you just decided to use a used gpu
which is fine, Im just not unemployed to go looking on ebay for every person that asks for a pc build
those fps vaule look wrong
since a 4790k can hit higher fps then that at 4k easy
Ye I wouldn't trust the site
there 100% gpu limtied it loooks
there fps nubmer look fake unless going there very cpu limited aswell at 4k disapte there fps is like 50% from at 1080p
the worse part that makes me think fake is the 41% exastly faster at 1080P and 4k
Thb i just use it to get some idea i dont rly believe that it is true
G50 has the heat-death-of-the-universe controller
What’s the budget/planned date of purchase?
The stated maximum GPU length for that case is kinda bullshit, you’ll usually only cram a 330mm card in it tops
Dunno how they got away with claiming 345mm
ok bouht the pc now and got a gigbabyt 3 fan model 9060xt 16 gb and the 5 9600x
the list Sai sent??
please cancel that
both lists sent here have their own issues, so preferably cancel anything you bought
no no took advice and changed the case not more exept a 3 fan gpu from gb
btw the gpu fits np wiht that and got a anti sag bracket
why 🥀
what’s the list
That PSU was shite
Gonna blow up
I honestly see nothing wrong with my list, I currently have a G50 and always have been using it, never got a heat issue
And anyone can go search up used gpus, I dont do that unless the user is comfortable using it
Or unless the situation calls for it like an extremely low budget
But what he asked for, he would get with my build, no need to use the used market unless theyre comfortable with doing so
Probably the only thing about my list is the 550w psu, I couldve made it 750 or 850 for upgradability
But beside that, performance is fine
for the budget
Not enough watts
340 * 1.5 = 510
You wanna double the amount of the estimated wattage?
Cuz if a build is estimated to be 700 watts youre getting them a 1400w psu
multiplying the estimated wattage by 1.5 works 99% of the time because that extra 50% covers the transient spikes that the cpu or gpu can cause
the cpu is about 65w, if it spikes to 110w thats 45w extra, the gpu is 170w, if it spikes to 300w itd be 130w extra, the cpu and gpu and the extra watts all added together is 410w, leaving 140w for the other components, I dont see the issue
It can exceed the TDP you moron
Exactly
I jus did the whole calculation for you
Whats the issue
A 9600x above 110w? Thats not normal
a 9060xt above 300w?
Want to upgrade the GPU? Throw in a new PSU
I already said that
.
But u said the psu would explode
So now ur changing ur reasoning
goodbye
Retar
9600x has 142W power limit if you using its stock high perfomince mode
Luckily enough, theres still headroom for that amount
just overclock it
i am not joking i recomend to overclock
those are fine
Overclock it for wut
to make it use less power and faster
You mean undervolt it?
and overclock to 5.6ghz
I personally wont recommend that, especially to someone who probably wont know how to do it properly but if it works for you then sure
Cuz that sounds like u want the cpu to boost higher with lower voltage
set +200mhz set PPT/EDC/TDC set scailer to 1x tune curve opmzer
PBO you can easy to offset VFT curve
not every user would know how to do this, yet alone where to find it, adding 200 mhz on all cores can sometimes fail if the user doesnt properly use the curve optimizer
your not adding 200mhz
Either ways, I get what youre saying, but the psu has enough headroom for the stock either ways
its very very rare +200 not sable sicne it not offseting clock speed its just letting it use high point on the VFT curve that not nomral used buy that sku but are still fused into cpu
Right, youre allowing ur cpu to boost up to 200mhz but it still needs knowledge of using the curve otpimizer
lower number better
what
try -30 run test if failes try higher
no
340 * 1.5 isnt 510?
no as in that's a stupid methodology
??
wait why 1.5X
it's completely arbitrary
As a general rule of thumb, 1.5x works, give me a case where it doesnt
its crazy overkill
or just look at the individual maximum draws of the hardware??
minor rails, cpu and gpu???
always assume minor rails can draw anywhere up to 100w, then simply look at the cpu/gpu
You always want to overclock
There isnt a time where the 1.5x doesnt cover the maximum draws
It can be but it isnt too much of overkill to the point where youre wasting money
okay, and there isn't a time where multiplying by a hundred doesn't cover it either
it's arbitrary
clearly if someone can say 550 isnt enough for a 9600x and a 9060xt
its fine
Which is why I didnt double it but rather used 1.5
or just USE REAL METRICS 🥀
450W is good
Youre saving at most $10 switching from 1300w to 1200 if you know what youre doing
Thats if youre not considering the wattage of everything else in your pc
literally what are you talking about
what in the lsat list uses like 100W
What Im saying is that the 1.5x isnt much above to the point where you can say youre wasting too much money
Again, give me a situation where it wont work
overestimation
Might not be 100 but its atleast 70
literally just use rails/cpu/gpu
And you cant find a 510w psu
so we still have 15% of the power buget left
aka around the 10 to 20% headroom that i like
By at most 50-100w
itd only be 100 for like the high end systems
literally 10 more euro over your 550w unit is a GT750
this is not worth saving on
which, as far as I know, is a GFA3 rebrand
750w is x2 not x1.5
Its to be used as a baseline
Minimum wattage you should get for the build
unless the 750w is the minimum, no reason to get it
hello yes gimme a PSU with nothing
what
10 bucks to cut 200w off
wanna put a new gpu in the PC? Well fuck you ig, because this guy saved you ten euro for a 550w unit
I don't get it 🥀
Ive already stated I couldve gotten more wattage for upgradability
which.. is the only reasonable thing to do
And either ways, Ive found a way for all cases, to have headroom for transient spikes without over spending, I dont get the arguement youre trying to make
that's great if you've found ways, it does not matter
this argument is pointless, you're defending a 550w unit 🥀
No, Im defending the 1.5x calculation that youre trying to say makes no sense
it's worse than rails/cpu/gpu
When in reality, in cases with builds like this, the difference from checking the maximum draws and using the calculation I have is like 50w
flat out
The higher end builds would have like 100w difference
Which I personally would be fine with, I dont want my gpu melting for any unknown reason a manufacturer has
especially since they dont pay for my shi
if it does
And ive already stated I couldve gotten a higher wattage psu
And in this case, using "rails/cpu/gpu" gets you to 550w either ways
So your argument is pointless
just proves my calculations are correct
jfc relying on pcpp's wattage calculation is the problem to begin with
I wasnt
Their wattage is 340
The psu I recommended is 550
And ofc I check to see if they have the right TDP for their components
