Can I press motherboard against i/o shield?

Whenever I let go of my mobo, it shifts backwards, away from io shield, but doesnt when theres no i/o shield. the shift prevents the standoffs from lining up (see pic) so should i use a little force to line up standoffs?

while motherboards are to be treated with care i used a bit of aggressive force to combat a similar issue

i say go for it but watch how much pressure you put on it

Yeah used a little bit of force andd pushed itin

now trying to figure out how expansion slots work lol

cant seem to fit the lock back on there

idk if putting the screws for expansion slots before the big lock is the right hting to do
