Is the 2070 super still a good card? Also with nvidia dropping support for 10 series cards I’m worried that support for the 20 series will also follow suit soon enough

tranquil nexus
#

but no longer getting updates for new games

#

my gtx 970 still games fine unless its run out of vram/just to weak to run games at good fps

vapid walrus
#

Okay gotcha. Ty

tranquil nexus
#

My cpu is a 7600 for reference

hot elm
#

uhh

#

Get a 6750 xt

#

RX 6750 XT

#

should be better than the 2070

#

may i ask where are you from so i can make you a pcpp

#

@vapid walrus

Ireland alright

vapid walrus
#

I wasn’t gonna buy a 2070 super new. It’s my friends old card he was gonna give me cause he’s getting a 7900xt

#

I was gonna try buy everything second hand cause I only have about 500€ to spend on the rest of the system

hot elm
#

wait so

#

how much is he charging you?

vapid walrus
#

He’s not charging me anything

hot elm
#

and you got 500 bucks left for your system

#

alright so

vapid walrus
#

Ye

hot elm
#

i would remove the 7600X (sorry but dont go for AM5 if your budget is less than 800 eur)
AM4 motherboard (any that will fit in your budget)
Ryzen 5 5600
RTX 2070 Super
32gb DDR4
1tb NVMe
Any case (dont get a micro atx case if your motherboard is ATX)

vapid walrus
#

Okay gotcha tysm

hot elm
#

no problem man

vapid walrus
#

If you were to guess how long do you think this system would last?

hot elm
#

hmm

#

if you take care of it

#

it will last awhile

#

im on a pc with a gpu made back in 2018 and its still performing good

vapid walrus
#

Okay awesome. Tysm

hot elm
#

but if you want, you can save up for AM6 coming in 2027?

#

While being on AM4

vapid walrus
#

Ye that makes sense. I’ll be working full time by then so I’ll have a bit more to spend on a pc. Thanks bro

hot elm
#

And if you want to start saving up early, you can make a video of you building the pc with a title "Building a pc for a customer pt1" and make like 3 parts of you building it, saying that you are a pc builder and charge them 50 bucks for labour fee

vapid walrus
#

😂

hot elm
#

Atleast thats what i would do

vapid walrus
#

Not a bad idea tbf

vapid walrus
#

@hot elm sorry I have one more question. If I got this without the gpu for between €400-€500 would that be a good deal

hot elm
#

wouldnt really get an air cooler for a 5600

#

they run really hot

#

@vapid walrus

#

and please, dont tell me this is a prebuilt

#

and usually, the assasin is like 90 bucks

vapid walrus
#

It is a prebuilt lol. But the seller didn’t want to split the gpu from the rest

vapid walrus
hot elm
#

You would be better building it yourself tbh

#

And if its a prebuilt, you can just sell the 2070 super for like 400 bucks

#

wait no

#

you can just sell the 5700 xt

#

for like

#

300 buck

#

my bad

vapid walrus
#

Would the 5700xt really sell for that much?

vapid walrus
vapid walrus
hot elm
#

Oh yeah sorry thought you were in like poland or something

#

i mean

#

if you do sell it

#

you can get a second SSD

#

or better cooler

vapid walrus
#

Okay gotcha
