I'm having an issue with my pc. Im 95% sure this is the power supply. Everytime i do something demanding or sometimes even just idle it makes a weird sound. I thought it was coil whine but it kind of sounds more like a failing fan or something like that. Also my mic has been cutting out a lot recently according to some people and it does it all the time now, this used to never happen so I'm thinking there's also a power delivery issue with it.

other times its got a different pitch
like less high pitched

i do not think this is coil whine

my mic doesnt pic it up too good
in real life it sounds different
still could be my gpu to be honest
i gotta make sure 100%
but it was happening when i was running cinebench and my gpu was at 0% use so
i doubt it is
@inner compass
Omg no way
I opened the back of my case to hear it better
It’s behind the motherboard
Like right where the cpu is
Wtf
its super loud
yeah honestly i dont think its the psu
its 100% something near the cpu
could be the aio vrm fan
let me send u sound recording
@inner compass
not normal bru
directly behind my mobo
where the cpu is
turn it up
Am I gonna have to rebuild my whole pc 🥲
How do I know which it is
Unless you have another cpu or motherboard then you dont
I don’t think the cpu would be making a noise like that
