I need a expert level PC builder and I need one fast please. I am getting conflicting advice. I need some real proper advice.

Okay, so I've built a beast of a pc. (Imo) ryzen 7 7800x3d, nzxt h5 flow 2024, cooler master 850w v2, 32gb ddr5 6000mhz cl30 yada yada yada. However. I am soon to buy my 5070 ti. I am going to have to use the 12 pin adaptor that comes with the gpu. There is a dual 8 pin PCIE connector at the end of one of the cables that come from the GPU. Do u use the dual 8 pins into the connector or use 2 separate cables? Please find attached what I mean by dual 8 pin pcie cable

#

Btw, I've tried asking Chat GPT. That aint concise with its advice either.

If your psu has a 12vhpwr cable, use that instead

I dont think it does

Yes

Like what do I plug where? And will the connector have 2 8 pin plugs or 3?

#

I just want to be 1000% to get optimal preformance... sorry for the million questions

violet steppe

Pretty sure the 5070ti has 3 connectors

#

With 2 connectors, use 2 dedicated cables. With 3 connectors, use 2 dedicated cables and a daisychain

Does it matter which one gets used?

#

Which cable gets used and which dasy chain gets used?

No

#

It’s just dumb power cables

Nice, sorry for the dumbass questions and drawing 😂😂

violet steppe

Nah the drawing was fire ngl

#

And we all have to start somewhere

#

I remember when my brother first built his computer, he said he “got an i5 and could have gotten an i9” and my dumbass said “why didn’t you”

#

Because if you can get an i9, obviously you should, right?
So yeah, ask those questions. It’s the best way to learn

Bro, I love the way you said that. I honestly appreciate you! ♥️

I didn't want RGB on purpose 😭

Although, I get a nice show when I boot my system up every time. It just cycles through Orange --> Red ---> White --> Green then it boots
