Hey all. I have been lucky enough to find work in my free time and i have saved up for my own system. My budget is 2000 euro but i do have a some legroom up to my cap which is 2300 euro. I do have peripherals so no need for that.
I would appreciate some help with putting together a build an some guidance on how to spend my money wisely. I do know a bit about components and stuff but i would appreciate some help. I do like the fractal design look but i dont know if its smart to spend money there.
I am in Europe, if it makes things easier i can link the retailer im buying from.
Thanks for any help!
#I need some help with picking components.

what country specifically? also what resolution do you plan to play on? 2000€ may actually be severe overkill in some cases
Im buying the pc in poland, i play a lot of different games shooters, movement games like dying light 2 rpgs like cyberpunk and some other pretty graphics intensive games. I do want to play some star citizen it looks great. Helldivers and ready or not is on my pc bucketlist but those arent as graphics intense as cyberpunk or rdr2
i see. what resolution?
because the higher the res the more you wanna invest into a gpu
i have 2 monitors but im not sure ill be using both im probably going to use my 1440p monitor and i dont think i need anything better than that anyways
What’s the refresh rate
you could go with 9070xt + 7800x3d i guess. if you really need RT you can go for a 5070ti but its like 150€ more
though thats still well within your budget
Also what fractal design case were you interested in?
i have no idea what motherboard to get ive heard that x670e is a good chipset and to avoid x870e
as for others, just make sure you've got:
- m.2 pcie4.0 SSD (whatever capacity youd like)
- 32gb ddr5 6000mhz cl30 ram
- b650(m) mobo
- 850W 80+ gold psu (like corsair rm850e)
- a nice air cooler (like tr peerless assassin or sum)
i was thinking the nort or north xl
youre overspending if youre buying any X. a simple B650 or B850 will do
B650E is already overkill
If you wanted too you could even get a liquid cooler from like Thermalright pretty cheap but really well made
i wouldnt recommend liquid cooling
AIOs have a limited lifespan
Not really anymore they are really efficient now
the pump stops working within 7 years if its a good one
7 years is like half my life bro
😭🙏
😭
but like keep in mind. you spend 50-100€ now and then again in 7 years
but if you spend max 40€ in air, its gonna last you forever
ig thats fair
In 7 years you buy a whole new pc bro
that is fair too
and what are you gonna do with this one?
Sell or give to cousin
😭
thats like having a liability of a PSU and selling it
lemme see what the store im buying from looks like
A lot of the problems with aios have been fixed they have much longer expectancy
Think of them as a loyal dog that cools your computer
well air coolers do the same
Yeah
if nothing else youre saving money
And with a 7800x3d I feel like liquid cooling is kinda needed
also since you mentioned that youre confused by the mobo name formats:
Naming format:
[Chip Family] [Model Number] [Suffixes]
example: B650M-A
AMD Chip family:
A = Low-end (Entry-level)
B = Mid-end (Mainstream)
X = High-end (Enthusiast)
Model number:
Naming format: [Generation] [Feature tier]
Generation:
3 = For Ryzen 1000, 2000 [AM4]
4 = For Ryzen 2000, 3000 [AM4]
5 = For Ryzen 3000, 5000 [AM4]
6 = For Ryzen 7000, 8000G [AM5]
8 = For Ryzen 9000 [AM5]
Feature tier:
10-40 = low-end feature set
50-60 = mid-end feature set
70 = high-end feature set
Suffix:
Form factor suffix:
(none) = ATX size
M = Micro-ATX size
ITX = Mini-ITX size
Feature suffix:
E = Extreme (PCIe5.0 for GPU+M.2)
PLUS = Enhanced base model (Tier 1)
PRO = Enhanced base model (Tier 2)
DELUXE = Enhanced base model (Tier 3)
ULTRA = Enhanced base model (Tier 4)
MAX = Enhanced base model (Tier 5)
WIFI = Includes WiFi antennas and chip
F = Fast LAN/Audio
W = Workstation edition (better stability)
S = Server edition
A = OEM-specific (worse than base model)
If the form factor suffix is present, the feature suffix will be added after it with a dash (B650M-E).

slight cheatsheet i made
Get like a b650 with WiFi
What is a reasonable price for a 5070ti/a trusted manufacturer?
Like a lot
5070ti is still very overpriced
its like 800€ AT BEST
I’m too poor for Nvidia I cry when I look at the prices
mostly 850+
i got my 9070xt for like 670€ at some random italian website
is this some kind of super deal or shady manufacturer?
But 9070xt is really great
for context thats like €517,23
palit is in fact an actual card
It’s a real card
yeah ther rest of the prices line up
its a 5060ti
😭🙏🙏
Do you need nvidia for any reason?
thats like seeing a 9060xt for 350 just to realise its an overpriced 8gb ver
350 euros for a 9060?
That’s over priced like crazy
yeah exactly
In the us it’s 380$ for the 16gb
well you shouldnt anymore. nvidia SUCKS at anything that isnt top end rn
Pricing wise
like everything up until 4090 is just not good
heres 2 3100 pln=€728,82
intel for budget, amd for mid high tier
and gigabyte is reputable
nvidia is now only top tier
Intel is my child
amazon.it or .de have one for 710€. how much is shipping from there to you?
i just read your username😭
Bro don’t worry
probably more expensive that reasonable
I’m like half goldfish
thats tuf
Don’t look at the photo closely
this store is from poland so its baisically free
which one do you guys think i should get
i mean they both have the same chip
the diff can only be in thermals and even then its like 2-3% if we compare the best and the worst model
ill jsut get the cheaper one
yeah
B650
can literally be one for like 100€
i wouldnt necessarily go with the 85€ one but like a decently priced standard B650 will do
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
can also be B650M if you want
Don’t look too closely at the ram, storage, psu or mobo. Not familiar with European pricing
what deos EXTREME even do?
ram should come at about 90-100€
ssd depends, i literally got 2tb for 73€ 😭🙏
mobo should be 100-130 max
guarantees a pcie5.0 gpu AND ssd slot
aka you dont concern yourself with that
Basically more room
its ok to have but like you dont need it
Not really needed unless your making something insane
you only get it if you plan heavy overclocking more or less
i do need wifi does that make it much more expensive?
or if you really really want to make use of your pcie 5 x16 gpu
Just get a b650 with WiFi. Will work great should be around 100 euro
you dont need to buy a wifi board specifically. you can get a wifi usb adapter
i want a pretty one tho
i dont think i should spend extra on any white compnonets ive heard it expensive
It can be
sticking to black then
Personally I don’t really get the all white build people. I like the black more
im gonna spray paint the interior of my white case black and put in some black components lmao
What case?
i did get the rog hype get to me for a sec is it any good?
not the 150 euro😭
FOIFKIN F300. random chinese case from amazon for 65€
looks rly good tho
Bro you said fractal design I just picked a popular one
In us it’s like 100 freedom bucks
also if you want an alternative to the fractal design wooden one
idk if its foifkin or sharkoon that made a similar one for half the price
i mean like in general not case wise😭
Ok
tarrifs to where im shipping to are crazy
It what?
arent you polish? doesnt amazon ship there free,
Im buying in poland but i live in sweden (its complicated) and honestly amazon doesent have a great rep here
ohh
yeah our national postal service is litearly nicknamed postal murders for what they do to our packages
we have the same one that was in the ltt shipping nightmare video
so should i pick msi gigabyte or the overpriced pretty one from rog
thats crazy
crazy european🇪🇺
i just sent like 850€ worth of items to germany. hoping nothing happens to them
were praying for you bro
so what do i do?
cheaper one
i also thought aesthetics are worth the money but it turns out i regret it
yeah lmfao
especially because most of my builds are kinda like a challenge to me. yk to see how good of a pc i can get for my money
and then the extra 150€ just feels wrong
good deal?
finance min maxer
in €?
€169,27
i wouldnt say so no
it doesent look bad either
i got a B850 white with all extra bullshit for 185€
so surely you can get a b650 for 100-130€
all extra bullsh*t?😭
like features that arent the selling point but just ramp the price up lmao
i paid so much purely cuz its all white and looks good
yeah thats a good one
valid
also ordered that one for one of my builds yesterday
our ancient homes in sweden are cooked when it comes to networking]
alr
are branded psu any more trustworthy than the like random "preyon" brand i see here
yes
ive heard good thing about the pure power 12M's
the general rule of thumb is that a cheap psu is a no go. you wanna get something like a corsair, bequiet...
could yeah. i personally use corsair rm850x and i have the exact same setup with 9070xt and 7800x3d
you can also find the current psu tier list. you want one thats A or A+ grade
the 990 ssd's are aparentloy beginner builder scams
Bro isn’t it like 3 in Slovenia and Poland rn
2
Ahh same as France
yeah im GMT+1
yeah i gtg in a sec its 2 over here
Gn
dw guys tiktok music is keeping me alive
😭
i got all the stuff over here lexar kingston msi pny samsung
what should i get
even dahua techolgies
in poland we dont have asus
we have:
ESUS IT
im obviously cheap af if you havent yet realised so i swear by waiting for 80€ ssd to drop to 50-60€ but you could go kingston or lexar yes
slovenia
how much is that in eur?
alrighty
if youre on amazon you really wanna check the used and returned ones from amazon warehouse
i got my 2tb one for 72€ that way
yoyo im back
Im putting everything together in pcpp and im wondering if i should get extra case fans, if so how many and what comoany is good.
ok so, ideally you get fans included with your case but especially with more expensive brands, thats not necessarily the case. if you have to buy aftermarket fans, unless you're going for complete aesthetics, i would just go with cheapest fans you can find that still look fine. anything that isnt a basic fan tends to be overpriced af
look for like packs of 3 or 5
ok lemme do that and send over the pcpp
as for how many you need... well depends on you entirely. 3 could defo be enough already, depending on your case's airflow. 4 is usually the standard but you can go all the way up to 10
also you need to check whether you're buying forward or reverse flow fans. reverse is for intake, forward is for exhaust
Here it is!
Pc build LTT discord - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
alright
and its well within my budget
so what do you think is it aproved?
are these actual prices you're paying?
no they are slightly different lemme just convert
damn i think the retailer might be upping a lot
3000 pln $823,33, 2000 pln $548,89, 500 pln $137,22, 600 pln $164,67
ok so.
- you get thermal paste with your cooler so no need to buy extra unless you really want the aftermarket one
- peerless assassin should be like 41EUR
- how come you suddenly went for 9800x3d? i mean obv its not bad but for your needs a 7800x3d might be more than enough
- is that rly the cheapest ddr5 6000 cl30 ram you could find?
- you can get a usb adapter for wifi. its much cheaper
- i hope thats not the price for 1 pack of 3 fans
ooohh i see
let me adjust some things
also at the price of 823EUR you're already tapping into 5070ti territory. check the prices for that
thats better ram is still expensive tho
ok let me see prices for that
well if thats the cheapest you can get then ig thats it
thats the cheapest 9070xt
yeah the rest is like 200-500 pln more (€117,41)
this the cheapest one
so thats like 150EUR more than the 9070xt?
damn your gpu prices are horrible. but compared to the 5070ti your 9070xt still holds better value as the price diff is normal
yeah its really similar when compared to tother stores this is actually a not bad price
well if you're forced to overpay anyways, just go with the 9070xt
at least you're not robbing yourself even more like you would if you went with a 5070ti
this is the full build and the total is €1 944,37
Thanks alot for the help guys! You've helped me save lots of money and considering what i was going to buy previously Im embarassed at how poorly i was allocating money. Ill see if Im going to post a update or not either way im really thankful for your help everyone. Thanks again!
no problem, everyone starts somewhere. also i wouldnt recommend buying that windows 11 license
i wouldnt get windows 11 at all but even if you decide to actually buy the license, you can get the key for like under 15eur on some websites
I don’t even have any os installed besides un activated windows for a year now
