you are overpaying for the fans there are other white ones that do the same for much cheaper
for ssd i would go 990 from samsung, cheaper and for the time i have been using them i have had no issues at all and is also cheaper
Yeah just wanted to match Lian li I’m not worried about saving a little on the fans but appreciate the input
Overspending on alot for no reason, with this budget u can definitely get a 5080 and put that 9800x3d to use, otherwise id jus go with a 7800x3d. The motherboard has 3 pcie gen 5 slots and good VRMs and wifi 7, unless you really need those, you dont need to spend that much on the board. The ASUS B650E Max Gaming Wifi has pcie gen 5 the same way and wifi 6e for less, negligble difference in performance. The ram is overpriced, the sweet spot for gaming on amd cpus is 6000 mhz either ways, paying too much for fans and the ssd
If you want to stick with the cooler, case and fans for your preference, Id jus advise switching the motherboard, ram, ssd and psu and arguably the cpu as well if you dont plan on upgrading the gpu any time soon, u can use a 7800x3d instead. asus b650e max gaming wifi as the mobo, teamgroup delta ddr5-6000 cl30 32gb ram kit, maybe a teamgroup mp44L ssd, psu to the vetroo gv1000 white
Or to the montech century II 1050w cuz its $20 cheaper but it isnt white
Lexar Professional NM1090 Pro 2TB
Almost similar a bit cheaper
RX 9070 XT performs about the level of a default 5080 with the recent bios updates and a bit of undervolting
Yeah that’s why I’m not getting a 5080
Double the price for same performance when I undervolt
9070xt is goated
I know I’m overpaying for stuff but I just want the best stuff lol

I switched mobo
If I downgrade cpu and ssd etc I’ll save a few hundred ? Idc id rather just go all out and I’ll upgrade my gpu in future
That being said am I making a stupid decision? I appreciate your guys response I like to hear opinions from multiple people
I opted for the cooler on the ssd cuz I read they can overheat lol 280 bucks on ssd but fuck it idc
I’m under my 3k budget so I’m happy
