Swapped coolers yesterday and since that i cant get my pc to boot to even bios, making me think i might have bricked my mobo when removing my gpu since the lever is super tight and i used a plastic stick to push it. It slipped slightly when the gpu got extracted and im thinking it’s that which is the issue.

R5 7600x btw.
I have spilled thermal paste on the sides of the cpu as it overflowed and i cleaned it with contact cleaner for electronics, as much as i could with qtips soaked in said cleaner.

I have tried using both the three headed and all in one cable from the AIO and pump and fans start spinning but cpu wont respond at all.

I have tried resetting cmos with the battery twice, once for abt 10 min and then i left it overnight with no luck

I have reseated the cpu twice and checked twice for bent pins in the socket and found none.

Since the pc does NOT boot into bios or does it turn off with power button, i have to force a shutdown with psu switch im now guessing i broke my mobo when removing my gpu.. thats all i can thonk about.

I upgraded cooler as i was gonna buy new gpu and probably get a 9800x3d at the same time in about 2,5 weeks after my summer work, but it seems ill have to get a mobo too so thats a shame. I would ask my uncle to go buy it for me now and i can pay him when i get paid but since im not even sure what the problem is i dont really want to do that

My 7600x can run 99% of my games good enough and since im 1440p most games require more gpu than cpu either way so im not sure what to do
