in 1440p the 7800x3d should in no game be the limiting factor.
for a start, just du MSI afterburner for the GPU.
any quick tutorial for it will do the trick, but honestly, just tdownload it and make sure you get "kombustor" in the add ons with it.
thats the benchmarking tool.
then you increase the clock of the GPU by steps of 20 until its unstable or the test crashes. the take the step before it, so if at +220MHz its fine but crashes at 240, use 200.
you can do memory overclocking as well but that doesnt yield as many benefits, if you do feel free to go in increments of 100 up to +400, then 50 up to +600 and from there i would do +20 again and just stop at +1k.
most cards will get 1k and after that its just diminishing returns as VRAM speed already basically never is a reason you are bleeding FPS.

if you find your CPU to start being the problem in a few years (probably after 1 or 2 GPU upgrades) just get the newest BIOS and enable PBO (precision boost overdrive) or AMD auto overclocking and that will already get you 80% there of what a manual overclock could do and is much quicker.
most new BIOS have some form of X3D boost mode and in general get better performance out of the x3D cpus once or twice a year, which is minimal gains, but we dont say no to free FPS even if its just 1 or 2.

if its fun to you tho, feel free to go down the rabbit hole and do manual overclocks and undervolts on your CPU and GPU or even try to get the CL timings of your RAM down. if you need any help or want to share results, there is always #overclocking 😊
