dedicated
Uma uses integrated
dedicated dose not realy matter at all in my option since its still all the same ram
Disable your igpu
and it makes less flexable in terms of hown you can use ram
wait
wait those "memory optimization" are those like high bandwith mode in gigibte bios
no i dont think so i dont use gigabyte mother boards
idk if its doing same thing its very bad settings
If you don’t disable your iGpu it runs on your igpu
here the vram i see before i enabled memory optimization is 8gb now it limits to 2gb
Then it lags because memory gets shared for igpu. Overflow then goes to gpu then system memory then cpu
i only have igpu sir i use laptop
ok your not running out of system ram?
no my ram is 16gb
Default is 2gb. Something wrong with override. It shouldn’t allow more than 50% enabled
and you not using more then like 13 to 15 GB?
nos sir
i usually change it in the bios to 16gb for using blender it used 7gb for windows and the rest for igpu
here
yes
then what should i fo to increase the vram
and there not a nice easy setting like set to what ever you like
what laptop model
i usually sees the graphics card 8gb or13gb when i increase the uma frame buffer to 8 or 16gb
but now it limits to either 486mb or 2gb
