Hello everyone i have an R7 265 it works fine show display no problem but when i get into windows goes black screen turn off all peripheral i try in another system the same again

You can try reapplying thermal paste, if it’s just an overheat and not damaged will work again. Cards so old it’s probably dead though

I try reinstall windows in another system with this gpu for like an hour until finish the gpu work fine but again when i get into windows afte 5-10 minutes goes black screen and after restart going directly to black screen on windows

It’s likely overheating. Reapply paste. If not damaged it will be fine.
Although tbh it’s what a 2gb card? Tf you got that still

I bought this gpu back in 2018 in 24 i give it to my friend he blow it with pressure air to clean it like a week ago and he call me that it doesn't work and bought another and come back on my hands (sorry for any Spelling mistake not my main language)

Memory was known to go boom too from heat. Techpowerup pcb photo even shows a damaged module

O yeah opened a vega 64 I bought as I noticed it was unable to use all the power and only did like 200w and hot spot was 105c
This was right after I opened it up, I did nothing to it
Someone forgot to add paste after cleaning the old stuff

I just remember that when i put it on my new system the motherboard light for vga y know doesn't Recognize any problem boot fine

I got an old rig in the shed I never use. Think it’s got a 780 and 1095t. Probably should get it out one day see if it works. Just gonna be issues getting hard drives working as the motherboard got static’d. Still works but can’t store bios on a new battery, some of the usb ports are borked also.
Gave up tinkering 3 years ago as it was just time consuming and I got some very old HDDs

Even the cpu in this laptop is in socket i can change it damn i miss this feature
