Just did a replacing of my Thermal paste, issue is I have a DRAM and CPU light now and it isn’t ram training as I left it for 30-40 min and nothing happened. I did remove the CPU to clean off some of the compound but obviously replaced it.

So I removed a Ram stick and now I have got post

Also it did boot with both ram sticks, then turned on expo profile 1

you don’t really need to add more if you just applied it, you can always scoop some of the squeezed out stuff onto the cpu

Oh no, I only reseated ram AFTER the 1st few failed boots

And someone told me to turn on some obscure BIOs setting that stopped it from checking the ram on boot

Yeah I am running a bit of a cheap Mobo compared the the rest of my parts

However it’s still rated up to 7200M/t

#

And I’ve got a 7800x3d so that shouldn’t be causing issues

Yeah if the BIOS doesn’t like 6000mt as that wasn’t really the standard 2-3 years ago
