#Which thermal grease should I get?

ngl just get a new cpu but if not mx 6 is fine
there is no mx6 -.-
my choice is limited, that's all I have access to
and a new cpu.. that's simply unproductive to suggest
mx 4
did not mean just new cpu but meant a whole upgrade considering at least windows 10 is losing support in not too long and the performance at least for gaming for most modern games is not great
like its still usable buuut ngl at one point a upgrade can be good
anyways mx 4 or kinda anything name brand
they don't have mx 4 either.. you're also talking to someone who daily drives 7.. I'm looking for help just on choosing from the thermal pastes on this link given the cpu
not for general computing advice
Duronaut 2g
my initial thought was something thermal grizzly yeah but they have a million ones so
okay, thanks
4790k runs hot af so paste doesn’t really matter. But the best imo is also one of the cheapest
yeah. I'm struggling with the stock cooler on the 4790k right now as well, so I'm going to get a cooler as well, was looking at something like the ag620, that one is a pretty good cooler and has am5 brackets and stuff like that so, an upgrade in the future and I'd be set with a pretty good cooler
Pretty much any of these pastes would do the job just fine that you have on the page
But some you realistically would need to replace every 3 months
On average, I never need to change the paste out on my cpu for the lifespan of me owning it.
think its nuts how often some people have too
Is that you on ur pfp
I take that back
It was dumb
Looks like Gordon Ramsay
I have to because it's a 4790k that has been ran with the stock cooler all its life
