bought a new cable from amazon .specifically, PS4 controller charging cable

can you check if it is a data cable or a only power cable?
do you have any other known cables at home that does provide data?

I bought the same cable which i bought years ago when my original cable broke
Yes, It can data transfer (tried with DS4 windows)

I believe there is some internal board issue since controller doesn't work iespecially in ps4

Charging is quite normal

did you tried to reset the controller? https://www.playstation.com/en-th/support/hardware/troubleshoot-dualshock-4/
what i would also suggest is to connect the controller to your phone/pc and check if it works

@formal flume yes I tried resetting the ds4 by pressing reset button with sim ejector tool for 10 - 15s
Bluetooth pairing also doesn't work! This makes me worried 😢

Try a bunch of different cables. I have had countless charging / pairing related problems with my DS4 controllers that all stemmed from Sony having some very specific requirements for both the USB cable and the charger being used.

I tried using a cable which was working already working with ps4 but no use. I think there is a problem with ps button on controller. I need to test the button and come back to it
