Going to purchase the 48b46la o think the model is (4k woled 120hz 48")

What speakers should I pair with them, budget around £200

Probably going to wall mount the tv to make space on the drawers in our room for speakers

I know this is USD, but if you have the option for this, at around the same price, its good.

#
#

Have it setup to ours. We are not audiophiles, so take what I say with a grain of salt

#

But sound is good, voice clarity is excellent. Bass is just the right amount.

#

It would depend on the size of the room too

wooden herald
#

Average size room if that means anything

#

Double bed and some drawers, with room to walk past and beside the bed

wooden herald
#

Might be possible but depends how important placement matters for it, we could place it in the corner beside a bookshelf

Yup, sub goes on the floor. You can either have it in the corner or right besides the soundbar, just, on the ground

#

Some setups say to even put the sub right besides where you sit.

#

I can't remember what the manual said for this

wooden herald
#

£149 new for me to get that sub and bar

Feel free to do your own research if you wish. But it was easy to setup. And works for our needs. Another one we have in our guest room, which is a bedroom ... one sec

Appreciate it. Trying to get multiple suggestions and go from there to try get best value. I was suggest sonor beam 2 or something but it's expensive af. Like £300 used 450 new

TV is a tcl in that room, pairing was a cinch, sound is about as good as the one I recomened up above

#

Bass isn't and punchy

wooden herald
#

Unavailable for me

#

As for pricing / wants I'm just tryna get a nice environment on a fair budget, so action films are a bit more heard on fighting scenes, and better clarity overall

torn quarry
#

Its tough at that price range. From all what I looked up, its basically ... poo at this price point

#

Its like, you spend sub 200, they are just ok...

#

Then around the 600-800$ things get good lol

wooden herald
#

Yeah.. Crazy how expensive it is 😂

#

I just want something good for this range. I know it won't be top tier stuff but as mentioned, just want to enhance the audio and have more clarity / bass feel

torn quarry
#

From what I've gathered they are all a horse a piece at this price point.

#

Alot of people recomend picking a sound bar based on the TV its adjoining

wooden herald
#

I asked in an audio server and they just said "buy cheap buy twice" so not very helpful. But theyre gonna be real geeky with it and try to suggest me top tier shit

torn quarry
#

Right. And its true with audio stuff. Especially with audio stuff. But around 150-200 usd, or euro, you can get a decent sound bar and a shitty sub. But going from no sub to a shitty one still sounds waaaaay better. And the sound bar you buy will still be waaaaay better then the TV audio.

wooden herald
#

As for what they said "buy cheap buy twice" I asked in terms of quality or longevity they said both

wooden herald
#

It's not like Im upgrading a sub / soundbar. I'm coming from basic tv speakers

torn quarry
#

Yeah, we didn't want to spend over 300 on our living room setup. We have been happy with it. Sounds way better then the TV sound, and the bass is just right.

wooden herald
#

Yeah I said in the audio server I wouldnt really wanna go past 300 and would be open to used - as long as it's worth it

#

But seems like they dont wanna help me out unless Im willing to spend like £400+

torn quarry
#

Even thats a little low for home audio

wooden herald
#

Yeah it's ridiculous how pricey it gets 😂

#

Sonos Beam Gen 2 was tempting based on reviews and based on the fact I can fit it in my space (used though)

#

Other suggestions Ive seen are: Sony HT-G700 / LG SP8YA

#

It's just frustrating that I'm basically being told to up the budget again and again. Rather than be reasonable that it's a real-word budget and not something everyone can / wants to just dump loads into - I understand theyre better obviously but there's no way the other systems under 300 are just complete shit

torn quarry
#

True. Go with a brand to match the TV, or get a brand that had a good warranty. That's basically what I settled with and found what I did.

wooden herald
#

New ones are 450

wooden herald
#

🙏only thing is some reviews said you'd want to pair it with a sub

#

But I guess that's separate to consider whether I care about that or not. Would be nice but not willing to spent thst money on one for now so will just leave it

#

Thanks for your help and advice also, really appreciate it
