Should i still use my Ryzen 9 3900X?

Hey, i'm still driving a Ryzen 9 3900X, a ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING and 32GB of 3200 MT/s RAM (4 Sticks á 8GB).
Should i stick to the Ryzen and just upgrade my Mainboard and RAM to something more... stronger/stable?
Because since i bought it sometimes it straight crashes to reboot. Tried changing XMP profile, set settings manually, changed PSU...

But, for what i need, the CPU is just awesome and enough for me. it just may need a little bit of better cooling i want to achieve with a Noctua cooler next month.

Lesser core, lesser threads, lesser speeds... Why?

faster more modern cores with better IMC

Gaming isn't that important to me. I'm a developer and need compilation speeds most of the time. I'm even using my old 1660 TI

And in terms of speed i'm up to 4,8 with a sligh OC but with better cooling maybe even more

5950x or 5900 xt on am4 or 9950x or some shit if you have the mula

Hmmm... And let's say i'd use what i have as a nas, buy myself a small matx mobo. What would be a good build with a good cpu like ltt did for the other linus(x) which would run nearly silent?

Any good mobo to go with? Had bad experiences with rog in the past, multiple failures with AMD and Intel but maybe i had just bad luck with my silicon?
