I NEED PS3 HELP!

So I’m modeling a PS3 for a friend and I keep getting the same error over and over again while I’m trying to upgrade the HDD to a new SSD I did everything correctly. I watched three different YouTube tutorials and I’ve done everything Word for Word step-by-step and I keep getting the same issue showed in the photo. Ive tried a different SSD and even tried with the old HDD and 2 different thumb drives, one with 128 Gb and another with 32 Gbs, and NOTHING worked?? Idk if its a software or even a hardware issue because I tried everything i could.

I need help asap

It may be a hardware issue, make sure the pins connecting the hard drive/SSD are not bent or broken

Both HDD (the blue one) and the SDD (the black one) have the same looking pins and the HDD still works on the ps3 AND im able to read the SSD on my pc so it cant be SSD’s pins

Apparently some SSDs are incompatible with the PS3. That console didn't (and maybe still doesn't) have SSD TRIM support, which means whatever SSD you successfully use will likely die pretty fast.

Okay well lucky for you. ME AND RAZERWOLF broke the HDD AND deleted valuable information like OLD baby photos from 2016 and we are now back tracking to get them back with ReclaiMe

No clue. I don't and have never owned a PS3. If it won't let you install the PS3's OS (or the OS installs, but the drive later corrupts itself for no reason), I'd say no, it's not compatible.

Honestly at this point, I would just return it to Best Buy or contact Sony for warranty support. Unless you have unlimited time on your hands. Something new out of the box shouldn't be this "broken."
