Hi.

I started up my PC after shutting down today after playing AC Shadow via Sunshine and now the PC won't output to a display not even BIOS startup.

It won't output to my TV (HDMI) or Monitor (DP) and I tried a new DP cable. I know the PC is turning on and booting to Windows 11 correctly because I can hear the fans and it shows as reachable on Moonlight (though it won't connect because there's no display active).

I tried disconnecting all the cables except for Power, Monitor and Keyboard but that didn't work either.

Any ideas?

Just opened it up and tried a BIOS reset with the CMOS battery but nothing. I observed the VGA diagnostic LED is staying red after booting.

I am having almost this EXACT issue as well. I was playing GTA 5 normally and my new 7800 XT got here. I turned my PC off unplugged it and everything and swapped the graphics card out. It wouldn’t display

I ended up putting the 2070 Super back in. Won’t display at all either. I’ve tried using MOBO graphics. HDMI cords, display cords. Reset BIOS with CMOS.

I can hear the fans and the PC is reachable via Moonlight (I run a Sunshine server) so it's booting and logging in to Windows and the WiFi is working.

if you have the gpu plugged and the dp or hdmi in the mobo its probably not going to display anything

Put the 7800 XT in and plugged everything in, didn’t work. Then I took the 7800 XT out and put the 2070 Super back in

Did that a few times, like switching them out trying to get it to work because I had something to do

Nothing ever ended up working after I put the 7800 XT in tho. Have tried all sorts of shit but nothing will make it display to Monitor. Can’t even go to Bios

Nope. Just the same one. I was streaming AC Shadows to my Steam Deck using Moonlight/Sunshine and it suddenly just dropped off yesterday saving no display. I tried turning it the PC off and then when I turned it back on there was no display.

Yeah, I had to recently install an update because AC Shadows wouldn't boot with my drivers and it said it needed to update.

If there are no drivers installed rn for the gpu leave It on with the gpu for a couple of minutes

It should get a driver and show the Desktop
