I already have the GPU and storage, those are going to be salvaged from my current PC
What do you guys think about this build?

Part List - AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, GeForce RTX 2060, NZXT H6 Flow ATX Mid Tower
specs of current pc
nice a 6 core X3D cpu
good old 6 core while gaming
It’s for those that want a 7600x but faster
And 3x the price
Will ddr 6800 even post with AM5?
I thought 6400 was max stable, atleast with x3d
Not sure tbh, I didn’t know there was a concern about that
I have no problem going slower but all I thought I’d have to do is change the speed in the bios as, correct me if I’m wrong, it automatically uses a slower speed on its first start
get 6000
Yeah I can’t find any on Google where they’ve got 6800 to post
What creeper said. Go 6000
6400 can work but not always so it’s a slight risk and returning of kits to find one that works if it don’t
would 6000 be the max that is stable?
6800 is also more expensive for no reason
6000 is guaranteed to work. 6400 should work. 6800 won’t from what I can see
got it, ok
i like to get the max i can get but stay on the side of caution for stability/reliability
6400 can normally be changed to 6000 so it’s not the biggest gamble and easy to replace if don’t so max stable is 6400
wait, future pc build? when are you planning this
By changed I mean just down clocked to 6000 on the same modules
yee
maybe in a year or so i guess
yeah the pc market changes a lot in a year so this list will become outdated fairly quickly
yea probably, but it'll be a good baseline, no?
i mean you should come back when you're going to build it
i see
are you in the US?
yes
rip
lol
welp do not use a single price you have now
