#Bulging battery?

Sir / Ma'am / Humanoid Amoeba / Robot... that there is no longer a battery - that is a fire bomb waiting to happen. Replace the spicy pillow with a new flat one ASAP.
Okay should I remove it myself? Because I haven't removed one before
And I don't have money to have someone remove it
If it's easy, sure. Some batteries are still screwed in place. Would be safer than keeping it installed.
Okay I think it is screwed in I can unscrew it and get the battery out and would I take it to a recycling place?
Get yourself a plastic spudger/pry tool or something non conductive and wiggle it left and right as you apply pressure. It will eventually come out.
dont turn ur laptop on for a start
second
if u have a warranty, use that first
itll be a much cheaper, easier and less risky repair process
and if u dont have a warranty
buy a new battery
and install the new battery
preferably get one from the brand of ur laptop
just make sure everything is plugged in right and uve done a full power down of ur laptop before u remove the battery
and make sure its not plugged in with a charger while u do so
