@orchid stag Check temps
Double check it
What version of GPU driver are you on?
For temps, use a tool like HWInfo
For drivers, go to the NVIDIA control panel menu, select Help then System Information
i use MSI afterburner is that alr?
Yeah doesn't really matter, HWInfo is just my go to recommendation
They just pull info from the sensors and display it so it doesn't make any difference
572.60 is the driver version
Doesn't really matter, stability issues are independent of bottlenecks
Download 566.36 off the NVIDIA site for your GPU, then use DDU to remove your drivers, and install 566.36
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000091878/graphics.html (instructions for DDU)
whilst i do that, could u maybe try find a way to see what fps i should be getting
i dont know what to trust
ive saw youtube videos and ive asked chatgpt
they all say it should be in the 200-300 fps range
Depends on settings to a large degree
4080S, 7800x3d, 96gb 6000mt/s
yeah thats alot better than mine damn
do you click update display driver
im doing the DDU first
Do you already have 566.36 installed?
nah
downloaded i mean
should i install that first
Download it, but don't run the installer
Then for DDU, just follow the guide i linked above
bro it says i need to install like 21 drivers
DDU?
i have 16 devices with outdated drivers it says#
yep
i have the software it scanned the pc and i have 16 outdated drivers apparently
eh just ignore it and remove the display drivers
i cant update them without paying
Yeah just ignore it then
so i assume its just a way of them tryna get u to to pay em stuff
alr
i cant do anything without paying
did you get DDU from here?
https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/
Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) - Remove AMD/NVIDIA/INTEL Graphics Drivers Cleanly - DDU is a driver removal utility that helps you completely uninstall AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers and packages from your system, leaving no leftovers behind, including registry keys, folders, files, and driver store.
man i dont get any of this theres just to much shit going on, i downloaded a software called driver easy which was from the link u sent before
i removed driver easy and all that
i just have that driver installed thats it now
i install this yeah?
Alr man I just did it all then
this is me on my phone
it’s restarting it all up now
figured it out
i did everything u said, my temps are are 50-55 on Gpu and 55-60 on Cpu
usage is higher on Cpu
fps is in the 200s but i havent been in intensive areas yet like loads of people building in one place
not high 200s tho and it does did down to high 100s
Not necessarily. A cpu bottleneck can cause massive fps swings
not to the degree described with a 14600f
Maybe
The time I’ve seen a bad cpu bottleneck was more probably because I was doing like 512 chunks in Minecraft with distant horizons lmao
It’s best practice in games like Fortnite to limit your fps 20-30 below your maximum so that your hardware has breathing room when things get complicated onscreen
yeah I set my fps to 180 locked
I just said that I want it in 200s because then I know it will be stable at 180
could my psu be a problem?
thats nomral
avg but 1% lows shit
like 13400F with 4060 gets like 250 fps avg but 30 1% lows
so on level of pc form 2014
yeah i can do that if u wna help
