#Upgrading from a 2070 super to a 5070

I reccomend getting 64 gb of ram
You wont have to upgrade ram ever again after this upgrade
Also the ssd's are kind of random
But either way gold build
The ssd's are the ones I already have in my current build. I won't be buying new ones right now because I'm already spending a bunch. I do agree with the 64gb but, I can't swap out the ram because it is part of a bundle from Microcenter. If I change it out the CPU and Mobo will cost full price.
If it’s just for gaming then that 64gb is wasted. 32gb is plenty And he will have to upgrade again, for DDR6…
True
64 gb can still help him because games are becoming more and more ram hungry
Also ddr6 wont do much ngl
I don’t even know if it’s a thing, but it will be one day.
And more VRAM heavy than DRAM
Remember games are only just starting to max out 16gb systems.
I'm not really sure if I should go with the 5070 because of the amount of VRAM. I haven't been able to decide. I have one friend trying to push me towards AMD but, I do like my Nvidia cards.
suggestion?
how do you know this?
IMO vram is king. It’s why i chose 7800xt over 4070 at the time
Yeah, maybe I'll just hold out for While. The 5090 is just way to much money
You could always try finding a 9070xt for msrp
