Games keep crashing and cpu gets hot

Nearly 2 years ago i build my own pc with the following hardware:

Gpu- Radeon RX 7900XTX

Cpu- AMD Ryzen 7700X 8core

Motherboard- Asus Prime x670-pro WIFI

RAM- Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 2x32gb

Cooling-Corsair H150I Elite LCD XT

I dont know what it is but games like Monster hunter wilds, Marvel Rivals, Black ops 6 and Fortnite keep crashing at random times.
I have tried many different settings in my AMD software, my bios and ingame but it always keeps happening.
Especially Monster hunter wilds is unplayable right now with multiple crashes every 10-30 min (also it crashes the instant I turn off frame generation)

My CPU also always gets to like 70-90 degrees celsius no matter what I play.

If you need any more specifications I will respond asap I really hope someone could help find a solution to this despair.

issue: cpu overheating try replacing thermal paste

maybe the thermal paste was a bit too cheap and it wore down over the years

Thx I will have a look at that but why is my cpu overheating n the first place?
even with the lowest graphics settings the same problem occurs.

Depending on the first application that sounds about right, would repaste and come back

On the flip it shouldn’t be crashing at 90

95 is the tjmax for that cpu. Can almost gurantee if they are hitting 90c in average, there are some cores hitting above 95c.

okay i brought it into a shop and they said it was a driver problem. specifically the amd driver because most of these games lean towards nvidia rather then amd and i will just have to wait for the right updates.

Yeah, thats not going to solve the overheating issue.

If they argue that, I wouldn't trust a thing they say
