Gigabyte hardware is great
Gigabyte software sucks ass.
I wouldn't even bother trying.
Heck i didnt even know they made screens
So im guessing the usb cable is for the type c's and other hubs on the monitor?
usb c port is available but im using included usb a to usb b "3.whatever" cable
it has 2 usb a ports for the hub and also acts as a kvm between usb b and usb c with a button press
where on the pc is it plugged in?
its connected to a laptop, a usb a port
i wonder if the port on the laptop are giving you issues
First thing I always do, is make sure gigabyte control center is turned off in bios, then uninstall it in windows
Its borderline malware
what control center, my laptop is asus
i tried on 2/3 ports, one usb 2 other usb 3
Literally said gigabyte
its a monitor. what would it do in bios of a laptop
Right, but i read gigabyte above, then the other guy mentioned their software
Might not apply to you here, but point still stands, their software is awful
the talk was actually about software, but not to a bios level
they have an app for controlling some of the monitor features and it says the usb isnt connected properly when it is as the hub works fine with my mouse and keyboard
Gigabyte control center you turn off in bios, but its a windows program
I dont install the control panel, i only install the osd sidekick and it installs rgb fusion and some patriot ssd rgb app too
