Ive tried on both ethernet and wifi, Steam keeps disconnecting then reconnecting about 10-15 sec later. Wife has no such issues, we were playing table top sim and i was dropping every 5 minutes and her connection was stable. What could be the issue? Ive tried restarting the router and modem even though it seems to be something wrong on my pc only. Also webpages seem to load slower yet videos seem to load fine. I was having the issue before i updated windows version(im on win 10) and it persisted after update. I have restarted my pc a few times. I did get a long time of about 1-2 hours with out it disconnecting before it started disconnecting every few minutes

old drivers? Bad board?
Ive updated the drivers, maybe bad board. Ive had the same board for about 6-8 years. But if its both the wifi card and ethernet have the same issues
Steam seems to disconnect every 2-5 minutes now. But even while its disconnected im able to watch youtube just fine, even reloading YT is fine
who knows if its just ur wifi place ment giving it an slower signal and maybe try putting ur pc next to ur router and then trying. maybe its just the steam sided problem. u could try updating ur steam to the latest version if already u could try to reinstall steam but if its on every website (youtube dosent count) it just could be ethernet or ur wifi card/dongle just not supporting supperior speeds
