Weird PC performance that I cant explain

First thing to check - do you have these games in windows or full screen? Do you also have v sync enabled?

Both make no differences and I have a 200hz monitor so I don’t think it would

It definitely does. I had a 144Hz monitor and v sync in Fortnite would for some reason limit my fps to nowhere near 144fps

Okay, have you tried swapping to dx11/performance mode to see if frames are still low in those too?

no frames are fine but still lower than they should be like 120~ but its games like GTA5 enhanced and marvel rivals no matter what they struggle to do 60

online from what I found with hardware and settings I have fortnite on medium should run at like 200~

and its not a heat problem

From what I can find, you should be able to run performance mode at around 150, let me have a look at a few more benchmarks though

Okay yeah, performance should be over 200 so medium should be around the 120-150 mark. A quick thing you can check, is your GPU receiving enough power?

Its not a virus its a fresh install of windows

i had the same when rebooting but on siege

i didnt get any blue screens tho

I think DLSS is only available in DX12 and 11, and I think Fortnite only natively supports DLSS 2 if I’m not wrong

For your GPU are you using a 12 pin to 12 pin cable or a splitter that came with your GPU?

You’ll want to have the RAM in slots 2 and 4

Otherwise you’re running in single channel

Running in dual channel should give you some performance uplift
