What's going on
I can't be bothered to read all that
Okay. Desktop.
Okay. Desktop.
If you got a good case, reuse it. If not, dont buy one of those mini-atx cases or whatever. It's stupid. It's a desktop, its not suppose to fit in your purse.
Buy something with space and good opportunitets for cooling
AMD 9800X3d or 7800X3D are probably the best CPU's out there for gaming, Intel is still on top for productivity. The 14th gens k-model intels were suicidal at release, tho that's been mostly fixed now. You should be safe. They run hot tho. But so does the top of the line amd's...
Nvidia got better gpu's generally but they are a lot more expensive than Amd. AMD 9070xt vs 5070ti, both are crazy expensive. Good luck finding one tho.
Raw performance is about the same, but Nvidia comes out on top thx to AI and ray tracing.
I'd rather go for high end cpu, cooler and MB with a lower end gpu, instead of the other way around. You can easily replace gpu and ram without any major work.
Depends on what you're gonna do with your pc tbh
the 9800x3d is probably the best gaming chip out there
huh
i feel it should be
The other good thing witj AMD is that AM5 is still getting support and new cpus. Intel left their lga1700 behind, so if you were to get an i7 14700k, there's no way to put in a later gen cpu.
Intel do have their "ultra core" chips, which are their latest. I dont know enough about those to be honest
7800x3d?
You might want to get a bigger cooler for one of those cpus as well
But im sure the 7600 is gonna work great for that budget, you can always put in something more high-end down the line
This seems like a solid build to me. Not sure what kinda chips ADATA XPG are, someone might be able to fill in.
Heard a lot of good things about the Thermal PA120se, good pick
As long as you pick the latest cpu socket and chipset, you can always upgrade later
the radeon 7900 maybe is a little overkill 😄
My tip is spend your money on motherboard, cpu and PSU. You can easily replace and upgrade the rest.
If you need a good GPU, go for that, and upgrade your CPU later
Asus makes good boards, and they got good software. ROG strix is their top "line" i think. Never used them myself
This is from userbenchmark

CPU: AMD ...
The 7800x3d is definitely enough
You could go all the way up to a 9950x but at that point you're not doin gaming, you're designing nuclear bombs or something
userbenchmark is quite an ass source
It is
and this is a random yt vid, not that much better of a source
Well go ahead and pull out a better one then and stop shitting on mine
techpowerup?
techspot?
gamer nexus?
hardware unboxed?
there are plenty
he can be like this
and still havent linked to another source
Let's conclude with this, the 7800x3d is the best bang for your buck
and it is the most popular when it comes to gaming
If the motherboard supports the cpu, it can't get more right.
"Motherboard is motherboard".
meh 850w should be fine
than you'll need at least 1000w lol
but you can always get a second psu
indeed
