#Screen Issue and Overheating GTX 1070

If the line still reappears, bam! It's the monitor. If the line does NOT appear with a different source device, it's possible it's your computer's GPU.
I'm pretty sure it's my monitor, i tried switching to display port and another hdmi cable, but´it still reappears.
But i'm going to find another pc to test this!
It is my monitor as i assumed, but i researched on this problem yesterday, and someone was saying that it could be some "Bad connection" that could have made those dead pixels. I was worried that it was my gpu that was the cause of the problem, and i wanted to know if there was a fix for it, as i don't have a budget for another monitor.
Aside from trying another input, one usually doesn't really "Fix" a monitor once it starts to exhibit problems processing the input signal. You could try searching Google for "Monitor Model Number + Vertical Line" or similar, but unless it's a common issue others have experienced, it's one of those "who knows what's causing this" issues. Could be as simple as replacing the video processing board, or could be the whole LCD panel.
How do i find my model number on my monitor?
Sticker on the back of the device? (Most devices have this info somewhere on the chassis.)
oh damn, gotta adjust my monitor arms
The only answers i'm getting is like "AOC monitors all bad? I have experience a pattern of similar issues with their panels." and some forums where they don't explain.
Is MSI a better brand?
Ah, good old AOC. 😦 No idea regarding MSI monitors - there are only a small number of manufacturers who actually make the panels in their monitors. Everyone else just rebadges their display technology.
Some of these rebadged monitors have ... not so great quality control. 😦 Doesn't mean every AOC monitor is bad, but yeah - I have heard similar issues with them.
I just saw a MSI monitor for like $70 that's affordable
Well, this one lasted for about 4 years or so, not that bad tho, could of been better.
