#Can I use WD_BLACK SN850x NVMe SSD 8tb 7200mb/s as my main drive with windows 11pro downloaded on it

Is it recommended to use such a large SSD? Or would I be better off using a 2-4tb SSD
doesn't matter
larger drives generally will be a bit slower, but it's not something you'll ever notice
Okay, And what about the "Heat Sink" bulky-ness. Will that have a problem fitting in my mobo.
Ahh okay.
Im rebuilding my PC right now, currently had a Ryzen 9 7950x, RTX 4090
im putting the Ryzen 9 7950x3d in to pair with the 4090.
Also putting the v2 Kraken cpu cooler for the better look, and a new MOBO, and just wanna reinstall windows 11pro and start this PC fresh.
Oh god
??
“Downloaded windows to it” “gamer ssd”
Should I reconsider?
No, personally I have that ssd
But you’re using the wrong words
I don’t understand what you mean.
You installed windows to it, not downloaded
Ahh, I gotchu 🤣
Also, there is no such thing as a “gamer ssd”
Hi guysss
In all technicalities, I was referring to the “SSD” that has the words “Game Drive” embedded on the side of it.
Hello Matthew
Anyone in here good with part lists?
No one in main chat is listening to me so thought I’d come in one of these ngl
@rich sable Seems to know what he/she is talking about.
Is it okay if I put my parts list in?
Off topic
I don’t mind. It’s off topic but go for it.
