What are your system specs? One thing it could be the PSU failing to supply enough power to the GPU

It could be the PSU is a bit too weak for the 3060. How long have you had the PC and has this happened before?

I'm thinking possibly the power supply isn't strong enough/may be failing for some reason, as nvidia does suggest a 550w PSU. HAve you tried running any stress tests to see if you can replicate the issue?

It’s not one that ends by itself - I’d just run it for around 10-15 minutes just to see if your GPU is stable or if it is the PSU

Make sure the 3D test is set to rog1 Open GL, have resolution set at your monitors resolution

Another quick thing to check that you can do

#

Open command prompt as administrator

#

Then run
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

#

It’s just a quick check to see if anything has become corrupted

I would just shut your pc down using the power button. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a pc freeze after a DISM command

Download the new driver, make sure it’s set to game ready too

It’s not necessary, but windows 10 is stopping getting updates this year

I’ll be honest too, updating windows to windows 11 could help - I was having problems with certain games crashing and they were fixed when I did a major windows 11 update

Well windows 11 might not fix it anyway. I’ve looked at some other people having the same problem, but I couldn’t find any that had it resolved. Here is one thread with some extra steps you could take
