Well, first thing, upgrade bios to f30, and do what sim said above

iron pebble
#

as it looks like you might be overheating as intel is very much known for doing that

#

also yeah update the bios

scenic hemlock
#

They are 5 updates back which is massive, especially for the 13 series lol

iron pebble
#

yeah only the latest f30 update has the "true" fix for the issue

#

well the intel self endingissue on 13th and 14th gen

Also, the red light on post means nothing. If it lights up and goes away, thats normal. If it stays lit up and doesn't post that's something else.

i just buying barnd new water cooling and stress test with cpz for 5min and peak temp is 80

scenic hemlock
#

Temps isn't all we are looking at, which is why we said to download it and run

#

With intel we will be looking at voltage, watts being pulled etc

craggy escarp
#

yeah i will tried and come back with update

iron pebble
#

so you are on f30 now?

craggy escarp
#

thanks for reading and helping

#

no not yet i need to dowload and update bios

scenic hemlock
#

Also, upgrade bios. I can't believe you haven't done that with all the intel issues.

craggy escarp
#

i m not really good at software and stuuff

#

and i also update bios is high risk if i fuck up i can lost motherboard and cpu

scenic hemlock
#

Nothing high risk about it. Just don't turn off the computer or touch it until it's booted back into windows

craggy escarp
#

i will keep it in mind

scenic hemlock
#

It will probably restart several times during / after the bios update

#

When you get hwinfo64 download we will be paying attention to what the vrvout and SVI2 TFN sensors read as those pertaining to gigabyte boards

craggy escarp
#

this is before i update bios i will come back with update when i done with bios

scenic hemlock
#

That 1.38v is .... lol very high.

#

Also need to see the cpu portion, need to see power draw and other things. But yes, update bios

#

Run intel defaults

craggy escarp
scenic hemlock
#

In bios is intel defaults selected?

#

@craggy escarp

craggy escarp
#

yeah bios is default running

craggy escarp
#

im going to do some game test and see does it solve or not

scenic hemlock
#

So long as intel defaults are running, you can turn on xmp

#

You can also turn off MCE "multicore enhancement". And see if it brings your voltages down even further.

#

MCE is basically the motherboard applying it's own overclock. It's usualy on by default even with intel defaults loaded

Di I need to change intel default settings from performance to disable to change it?

scenic hemlock
#

Yes. Change intel defaults settings

#

Then you can turn off multicore enhancement.

#

@craggy escarp

#

Every other settings will remain intel defaults. It will just let you change things now.

craggy escarp
scenic hemlock
#

Ok, then restore bios to default and leave intel settings at default too.@craggy escarp

#

Every mobo is different, typically disabling mce is good as it turns off the mobos auto oc

#

But it could cause instability, who knows, pcs are a pain in the ass at times
