Yo, i just came to my friends place to download windows on a pc he got recently (used). I install everything, run windows and look at temperatures (HWMonitor) and i saw that motherboard temperature exceeds 100 celsius (up to 111). What could be the reason for that and how can i fix that? The motherboard in question is ASRock H410M

might just be buggy reading
i dont think its any further than faulty reporting
since if its actually that then your pc might be crashing
All the other temperatures are just fine, not exceeding 40 degrees
just buggy reading
That what i thought as well, there is no way a pc could run considtently on 111 degrees motherboard
It would be fried
yeah
open task manager and show cpu
breh
turn off the pc and leave it to be for 5-10 minutes, then open it and quickly check same temps
Alr
0 cpu utilization, meaning mobo shouldnt even be stressed at all
I turned off the pc once and it was off for like 2-3 minutes
@pearl ginkgo
The temps were like 40 degrees or smt, but as soon as i turned any game on (he ran roblox on it as a test lol), after a few minutes of playing, the temp spiked again to 111
I mean i think its just glitchy but its really strange
send a few pics of the mobo with flash on
