Just set up something similar at a school I used to go to. A teacher’s laptop screen started degrading, so I hooked up a couple external monitors through a dock and it works like a charm

it has Amd e2 7110, 3GB RAM and very slow HDD at 5400RPM
Chrome barely starts on it, well, it sort of starts but it takes a long time
I hope I'll buy a new PC this year

Yeah that looks like the laptop screen continuing to die. Suggestion - open the thing, unplug the screen and remove it from the chassis (unscrew the hinges and just take the top half off). You could then use the bottom half as a keyboard for an "all in one" type experience with the monitor.

I got a computer back from spilled soda with some thorough cleaning with isopropyl once, but if you can't open it due to the screws (what did you do, cam them out?) then you can't clean it so... yeah
