the case im using where those 3 cables came from is Antec C5 ARGB, the.mobo is gigabyte x870 eagle wifi 7
middle one is a fan header to power your case fans
bottom one is a type-c cable, it should be somewhere around the right side of your motherboard, if not, on the bottom of the motherboard
top one is an argb cable, you can find a pin header on the bottom of the motherboard, or the top right of the motherboard, usually
thanks, i plugged the argb into something labeled argb_v2, fan into sys_fan1, and I think i see the usb c one in the right of the board
argb
fan
usb-c
nice
@edgy bay so the argb and the fna header going into a small board which I think all other case fan plug into, so in the future if i want to add more casefan i just need to plug it into that small board right ?
yeh
so near the cpu i have these 1 4x2 and 1 2x2 power connector, and in my psu i have 1 cable with 4x2 labeled cpu, and another 2x2 and 2x2 labeled cpu too, do i plug both of those cables into my psu and then plug the 4x2 into the 4x2 and then 1 of the 2x2 into the 2x2 and just leave the remaining 2x2 dangling ?
All you need to plug in is the single 4+4 connection. The extra 4 pin is for overclocking wattage headroom for the most part.
ah thanks, I ended up just plug them all in and leave 1 dangle, I guess it wouldnt matter
do you know if there's any bios settings i should change right away?
